‘I think Phil Lowe is gone’: Clennell on RBA Governor’s position in coming months

Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says he believes "Phil Lowe is gone” with Treasurer Jim Chalmers set to decide on the RBA Governor’s position by mid-year. “I think Phil Lowe is gone, the Treasurer said this week … he’ll make a decision on the future of the governor of the Reserve Bank mid-year, I think we will see rate rises before then too, perhaps even one next month but I’m predicting the governor will finish up when his term expires in mid-September,” Mr Clennell said.
