New South Wales Opposition Leader Chris Minns has promised to prioritise lowering the cost of energy and securing supply. In an interview with The Australian he said, if elected, his government would immediately have to deal with an unfolding energy crisis. Minn's also vowed his Labor government would never privatise energy as an essential industry and promised it will instead establish a state-owned, $1 billion energy security corporation which will invest in renewable energy.
