Former ASX Chairman Maurice Newman says Treasurer Jim Chalmers’ economic report is a “centralist move”. “It’s where the government is going to have more control over business, over investment, over trade unions,” he told Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood. “So in other words all coming to the centre to be presumably orchestrated by the treasurer Dr Chalmers.”
