Netflix announces plan to put an end to password sharing

Netflix has announced its plans to put an end to password sharing and has already started the process in some countries. The streaming platform says more than 100 million Netflix viewers watch content using passwords they ‘borrowed’ from someone else. The streaming giant says it will begin its crackdown on password sharing in the new year and is hoping to bring in new subscribers. Netflix has already begun trials in some Latin American countries where password sharing is more common.
