A new Resolve Political Monitor survey has revealed a large majority of Australians support the idea of imposing price caps on energy companies to address the rising cost of electricity and gas. 79 per cent of voters are in favour of the caps despite warnings from state premiers about the impact on their budgets, according to the survey.
