Australia's unemployment rate is expected to fall once again when the Australian Bureau of Statistics releases the April jobs figures later today. Chief Economist at AMP Shane Oliver discussed the issue with Sky News Australia. "The market consensus and our own view is that the unemployment rate will fall yet again to 3.9 per cent," Mr Oliver said. "With something like 20,000 – maybe 30,000 new jobs created. "Of course, these numbers can be quite volatile – so you can always be surprised by these numbers."
