National property prices have hit a new post-pandemic record high. Prices are up nationally by 0.35 per cent this month, according to new data from PropTrack. Overall prices for all capital cities, except Darwin, have risen by 0.41 per cent. In the regions, the new highs are impacting Australia’s housing affordability. PropTrack’s recent report found the average household can only afford 13 per cent of current properties on the market.
