Harvey Norman today said its net profit fell 33.5 per cent to $539 million as sales fell from the COVID-inspired spending. Revenue, which is made up of store sales and rent from franchisee owners, fell 38 per cent to $9.19 billion. But Harvey Norman founder Gerry Harvey says retailers might find it even tougher in the months ahead and that even the debate about the Voice could distract shoppers.
