Rex Airlines has a new “high ambition” goal to be the next aerial operator for the Australian Antarctic Division, according to Rex Antarctic Project Manager Craig Martin. The job would see the airline help some of Australia’s top scientists carry out vital research on the frozen continent. “We’ve won the best regional airline in the South-Pacific for a number of years, however what you’re probably not aware of is we also conduct special mission operations, aeromedical support via our related organisation Pel-Air Aviation,” he told Sky News Australia.
