Government launches plan to provide more telco services to Indigenous Australians

The federal government has launched a plan to provide more reliable telco services to Indigenous Australians in an effort to close the ‘digital gap’. The ‘First Nations Digital Inclusion Plan’ – which will be launched today – aims to deliver reliable and affordable telecommunication services and appropriate training. The new plan targets 'Closing the Gap Target 17' – the elimination of digital inequality for Indigenous Australians.
