It will be a tough time for Australian families as the RBA’s latest interest rate rise will no doubt “hit a lot of people”, says Regional Development and Territories Minister Kristy McBain. “There’s no doubt that we have Australians right across the country who are doing it really tough at the moment,” Ms McBain told Sky News Australia. “The decision by the independent Reserve Bank will no doubt hit a lot of people really hard and will be left wondering how that decision was made when their household budgets have already been cut really thin. “It will be a tough time for a lot of Australian families out there.”
