Millions of Australia's lowest-paid workers will receive a wage rise -when the Fair Work Commission announces its Annual Wage Review at 10 am. The Federal Government has asked the FWC to ensure wages for low-paid workers do "not go backwards" as inflation soars to 6.8 per cent. About 180,000 workers across retail, tourism and hospitality industries will be affected.
