Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek’s decision to reject Clive Palmer’s coal mine proposal in Queensland does “nothing to help” the current inflation crisis, says Nationals Senator Matt Canavan. “All Tanya’s decision will do is deny Australian families a job to keep a house over their head,” Mr Canavan told Sky News Australia. “To help tackle inflation, we need a more productive economy and decisions like this will hurt that as well.”
