Assistant Trade and Manufacturing Minister Tim Ayres has reached a breakthrough with the Chinese delegation, setting up a virtual meeting with senior Chinese trade ministers in the coming weeks. It would be the first meeting between the two countries' trade ministers in three years. “It is an important and useful development that there will be a face-to-face meeting of the Australian and Chinese trade minister over the coming weeks,” Mr Ayres told Sky News Australia.
