Rent prices expected to increase in Sydney and Melbourne

Rental prices in Sydney and Melbourne are increasing despite prices stalling in other cities across Australia. The latest PropTrack report indicates rent rose 2.3 per cent in Melbourne and 1.8 per cent in Sydney in the December quarter. Prices are expected to increase further this year due to low volumes of listings on the market.
