Australia in a ‘global race’ for renewable resources as govt commits $4.7b toward projects

Energy Minister Chris Bowen says Australia is in a “global race” for the resources that go into “big projects” as it commits $4.7 billion into NSW renewables. “These are big projects and we’re in a global race, for the wires, for the metals, for the resources,” Mr Bowen said during a press conference on Wednesday. “This enables companies to place their orders with certainty.”
