Finance Minister Katy Gallagher says she believes it has been made clear the government will be “finding savings” in the upcoming October budget. “You’ll see stage one of the audit into waste and rorts, you’ll see the results of that, so there has been that focus,” she told Sky News Australia. “We also said it will be delivering on our election commitments, helping with cost-of-living pressures where we can do that without adding to inflation.”
