The Courier Mail newspaper is reporting Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk’s new land tax is the main reason investors are looking to offload Queensland properties – and claim it will lead to higher rents. “If you’re listening to the housing groups, they’re calling this a renters’ tax,” she told Sky News Australia.
