The Institute of Public Affairs’ Gideon Rozner says laying the cables for offshore wind farms is “very, very difficult” because the ocean currents keep shifting them around. “These are basic technical questions that have not yet been worked out,” he told Sky News host Jenna Clarke. The federal government recently announced it will explore five zones across Australia for offshore wind production.
