CommSec’s Tom Piotrowski says the market is predicted to “kick off in positive territory this morning,” with a gain of around 0.2 of a per cent. “Which is an outperformance compared to what we saw on Wall Street last night,” he said. This follows the US Federal Reserve announcing its intention to continue hiking interest rates. “The session after a big adjustment, it’s always important to see the price actions, to see where the sensitivities were," he said. “And at one stage, we had the S&P 500 down by 1.4 per cent, and it was able to recover.” Presented by CommSec
