A tugboat crew has spectacularly saved much of New South Wales' coastline from a potential environmental disaster – after a cargo ship carrying fuel lost control of its engine and began drifting towards the coast. The wild winds made an attempted helicopter rescue impossible – leaving the 21-man crew on board. The tugboat crew managed to ferry the large cargo ship to deeper water where its crew can attempt to repair the damaged engine.
