Skills shortage is Australia’s ‘key crisis issue’

Property Council of Australia Chief Executive Ken Morrison says Australia’s skills shortage is the “key crisis issue” facing the country. He said Australia needs to resume its normal levels of migration and skills entry. “If we can get people back in the country … then a lot of that acute pressure that is being experienced right across the economy can be addressed,” Mr Morrison told Sky News Australia. “Then we can get along with more longer term and very important issues we also need to address.”
