Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says he sees Australia as a “renewable energy superpower” but must deal with the “realities of the present”. “As Prime Minister, I’m committed to renewing Australia’s standing in our region,” he said during his address at the Sydney Energy Forum. “This work is underway, demonstrating our government’s commitment that each action we take, each policy that we pursue in this space, will be driven by a larger vision of our shared future. “A future with new clean energy industries and jobs as its foundation – powered by renewable energy produced in Australia.”
