Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has stated he is confident the Australian economy can continue to grow, despite high inflation and increasing interest rates putting the economy under pressure. Close to 70 per cent of American economists have predicted the US economy will record a recession next year, with global markets and consumer spending in decline.
