Tesla CEO Elon Musk is offering to buy Twitter for more than $AU50 billion. Mr Musk is currently the biggest shareholder in the social media platform - with a nine per cent stake. The billionaire has been outspoken about the changes he would like to make, despite recently turning down a seat on the board. The offer prompted a 12 percent jump in Twitter's pre-market trading.
