Setting the right tone and establishing strong foundations “from the top” is essential in any organisation, according to Wipro Managing Director A/NZ Sarah Adam-Gedge. “To be effective today, you have to be able to work in the gray, and so if you don’t have building blocks that actually give you steerage or guidance, it becomes incredibly difficult,” she said. “That can’t be bottoms up in an organisation, it really does have to come from the top.”
