REA Group economist Anne Flaherty says demand remains strong in the property market going into 2022. “We do think that even though things will slow, they’re not going to go backwards any time soon,” Ms Flaherty told Sky News Australia. “With the speed of which property prices have risen over 2021, we will see some of that momentum flow into this year. “Demand is still very strong.”
