Record $21 billion in retail sales expected post Christmas

Australian Retailers Association CEO Paul Zahra says $21 billion in sales is expected after Christmas. “People are out an about shopping. People are taking precautions and shopping safely,” Mr Zahra told Sky News Australia. “This will be really big week, Australians are forecasted to spend around $59 billion pre-Christmas. “The position gets better post Christmas, another $21 billion will be spent.”
