Australian families are expected to enjoy lobsters at low prices again this Christmas. China’s export ban means lobsters could cost just $20 but could reach as much as $150 for two kilograms. Western Australian fishers have been allowed to sell up to 400 off the back of their boats this month, in a program which has sold more than 90,000 lobsters since September 2020.
