The Motley Fool’s Scott Phillips says airlines are putting as many planes in the sky as possible following the reopening of Queensland. More than 1,500 flights into Queensland are scheduled for the week before Christmas. “It’s been a really tough two years for airlines,” Mr Phillips told Sky News Australia. “They’re still not going to get back to some degree of normality yet, but 1,500 flights from around Australia into Queensland in time for Christmas is welcoming news for the tourism operators.”
