The news of the new coronavirus variant, Omicron, has shocked financial markets across the globe. The Switzer Report’s Peter Switzer told Sky News Australia there will continue to be sell-offs on the ASX following the news. “Particularly focused on the companies who were going to be the great beneficiaries of the reopening,” he said. “So like the likes of Qantas, Webjet, Flight Centre – they’ll probably cop some more selling off today.”
