Mid-Session 1 Feb 2021: ASX recovers from opening slide

The Aussie market is well off its session lows as the ASX 200 still trades nervously following last week’s declines. The major miners are helping to arrest the sharp drop in the opening hour of trade, when the main index was down 1.3%.
